Spooner is the founder of The Forge Companies and CEO of Forge Consulting. The Forge Companies Forge Consulting consists of a national insurance agency, Forge Consulting, an SEC-registered investment advisory firm, Advocacy Wealth Management, and a state-chartered trust company, Advocacy Trust. The combined abilities and expertise knowledge of this 130-plus-person team provide attorneys and their clients with comprehensive financial planning services and products. 

Spooner graduated with honors from Rutgers University in 1994 and earned his Certified Structured Settlement Consultant (CSSC) designation, administered by the National Structured Settlement Trade Association in cooperation with the University of Notre Dame Executive Education Department. He regularly speaks at continuing legal education seminars and within programs associated with settlement disbursement issues. Spooner and his wife, Denise, have four sons and make their home in Hartwell, Georgia.
